Hi Danil, I think it could be due to a corrupt tar file, did you use our online tool? I noticed that the tool in some cases (most probably related to fonts) fails to convert the pdf to jpg's, which could be the root of your problems. I have added and error message when the pdf to tar tool fails... please try again, if you do get an error then you'll have to create your tar file yourself, you can get a bit of help reading our pdf to tar how to.

That folder should contain images of the pages of your pdf and an xml file with some extra info.
Hi, When installing the tar did you get any error messages? Could you please send us the tar you are trying to install along with any error messages, php log to this address dev[dot]joomla[ at]cynergy-soft ware[dot]com Can you also check the content of the folder images/com_cyne rgypdf, it should contain images of every page of your pdf, if it does not exists or does not contain the images, it would mean that the permissions are not set correctly on your images folder, make sure the web user has write permissions to it.
Hello, I appreciate efforts in creating this tool. I installed the tool and followed the directions but I experienced various problems. I used your PDF converter tool to create the "tar" extension. First, I received an error message that "it was not able to display the page." Then, I deleted that file and then tried again with a smaller file. This time, there was no error message, but again the page does not display. I would very much like to use this component, but I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I would appreciate your help. Thank you!

Hi, You seem to have access to your php.ini, there must be in that file a directive like this: "disable_functi ons = chown, chgrp" remove chown and chgrp from there and all should work fine. We will work on trying to avoid using chown and chgrp but for now you will have to allow php to use the chown aand chgrp functions. PLease let us know if that worked, Thanks Cynergy

We were not able to replicate the problem, but it could be due to your PHP upload file size limit. Please check that the PDF is smaller than the max file limit. We are uploading a newer version that will report this limit to you and give an error if the file is not uploaded properly.
